I AM PROUD TO BE A RECOVERED REPUBLICAN!! I have been politically CLEAN now for the past 13 years. It’s fantastic to be free!! No more group-think! I don’t have to reject ideas, programs, and policies simply because members of the other party might also support them! I can admit publicly that the poor are not just lazy people trying to game the system! I don’t have to deny global warming is real or influenced by human activities. And I can even speak out against gun violence! WOW! How exciting to be able to consider public policy issues on their merits!!
